Srivani Sistla is the Senior Programme Manager of the Cellular Agriculture (CellAg) programme and has over 7 years of experience managing large program grants.

After graduating with a PhD in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, she moved to Singapore for a post-doctoral stint in Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A-STAR. After dabbling in the field of yeast cell biology, she decided to move into a non-lab-based role and has since been associated in different capacities in the field of research, strongly guided by the belief that science happens not only at the bench but also through the support structure provided for it to flourish.

Reading, swimming and running and a nice cuppa are some of her pleasures and volunteering and teaching are activities very close to her. She strongly believes,’ This too shall pass’ and tries to live accordingly!
